Slow is Smooth and Smooth is Fast
Take your time doing things the right way always - enjoy it, have patience, don't rush
By taking it slow, you'll refine the process/idea/steps that eventually there will be less hurdles and more experience, thus making the journey smoother
Actions:
Plan and organise: Keep your workspace clean and organised, and create systems to help you stay on track and avoid wasting time.
Practice regularly: The more you practice a task, the smoother and more efficient you will become. Regular practice can help you develop muscle memory and improve your technique, enabling you to complete tasks more quickly and accurately.
Relax
Feedback loop: Ask for feedback on your work from others to identify areas for improvement. This can help you fine-tune your approach and become even more efficient over time.
Set a timer (and take your time): It can be tempting to rush through tasks, especially when you're under a deadline. However, taking the time to do things slowly and carefully can ultimately save you time in the long run by helping you avoid mistakes and redoing work.
Focus on precision and quality: Instead of just trying to get things done quickly, focus on doing them well. Pay attention to detail and strive for excellence in everything you do.
Going slowly allows you to observe patterns/trends and put in place a plan of action (no matter how ambitious or preliminary). This doesn't necessary mean you have to work v slowly or take longer than needed - set the pace yourself but make informed decisions, with purpose. Rushing through an action plan may cause you to skip steps, or not take them as seriously, thus risking the goal in mind.
Taking it smoothly allows you to become familiar with all the steps needed, take the time understanding whether the project is working, become relentless at the task at hand because you are in control.
